This 33-years old man presented with a hard swelling in the left half of the face near the cheek region. The OPG (Fig. 1) and plain radiograph (Fig. 2) showed a dense lesion along the buccal aspect of the mandibular ramus. The CT and 3DCT (Figs. 3, 4) showed a bony lesion arising exophytically from the buccal aspect of the ramus.
This pattern is consistent with that seen in an osteoma. The lesion was excised. The patient did not have Gardner's syndrome.
