Suprascapular nerve block

This is a 60-years old man with a frozen shoulder. A suprascapular nerve block was performed by placing a needle in the prone position in the suprascapular notch and injecting a combination of bupivicaine, methyl prednisolone and iodinated contrast.

The patient had significant relief of pain within 24 hours of the procedure.
