Adenomatoid odontogenic tumor (AOT) occurs most commonly in the 2nd and 3rd decades and more commonly in women. It arises from the primitive epithelium of the enamel and has a thick capsule as in this case. Histologically, it is composed of duct-like structures containing amyloid-like eosinophlic material.
