This 34-years old man had a history of an inferior wall infarct. He came for an MRI about a year ago, to evaluate the inferior wall aneurysm. The mid-inferior wall showed a well-defined aneurysm (2C and SA cines). There was a well-defined sessile thrombus as well, seen on the cine as well as late gadolinium images (Figs. 1, 2).
He came back for a repeat study a year later. The aneurysm was unchanged (2C cine), but the thrombus had completely regressed.
