Aortic root dilatation and aberrant origin of the circumflex

This 23-years old man had aortic root dilatation. Prior to surgery, it was necessary to map out the coronary tree. Apart from the root dilatation, he also had aberrant origin of the circumflex (CX) from the right coronary cusp with a retro-aortic course. This information was extremely useful prior to planning surgery.
