Just as we had shown in an earlier post with a retro-aortic RIMA-OM1, the use of individual vessel tracing, helps even in the depiction of unusual anatomy in congenital anomalies.
Ths 34-years old man with one episode of chest pain, came for a cardiac CT. No pathology was seen, but all the vessels were seen to arise from a common origin from the right coronary cusp. The RCA was supra-dominant with a small LAD and a moderate-sized circumflex. The routine VRT images (Figs. 1, 2) showed the anatomy well, but it was not possible to depict all three vessels and the entire anatomy in one image. After vessel tracing and superimposition on the shadow of the heart (Figs. 3, 4), it was possible to appreciate the anomalous anatomy much better.
