This 35-years old man presented to us for evaluation of the asymmetric anterior wall and septal hypertrophy, which had been seen on a routine echocardiogram. The patient was asymptomatic. The MRI showed significant anterior wall and septal hypertrophy (Figs. 1, 2, cine files), but without obstruction. The delayed hyperenhanced images showed abnormal foci of enhancement (Figs. 3, 4), suggesting necrosis / fibrosis.
