This is a 45-years old lady who had a mass attached to the inter-atrial septum on echocardiography. An MRI was performed. The TrueFISP cine study in the 4-chamber view showed the lesion well (avi file). A perfusion study (avi file and Fig. 4) showed the lesion well, contrasted against the contrast in the LA cavity. We perform this sequence routinely in all patients. The enhancement pattern was also plotted on a time-intensity curve and showed mild, progressive enhancement.
The delayed hyperenhanced images (Fig. 1 - 3) showed the lesion well, contrasted against the minimally opacified LA chamber. The lesion was attached to the septum with a small pedicle.
