This is a 48-years old man with raised triglyceride levels and a family history of coronary artery disease, who presented for a cardiac CT. His coronary arteries were normal, but the aortic valve showed mild calcification (Figs. 1, 2). There was no evidence of stenosis on the cine CT (cine file). An echocardiogram was performed on the same day - it also shows calcification, but no stenosis.
